Who the f*ck is Clarity Star?
Clarity Star is a pen name I use for all my creative projects on the internet. No it’s not my real name & yes I wish that it was. Clarity Star is a woman on a journey to enlightenment. Having suffered countless abuse and setbacks over the years I have rediscovered how to draw self empowerment from within. I have decided to live my life in order to spread love and to heal the world as much as possible during my time here on earth.
What race are you?
I have concluded I am a creature from outer space.

On a serious note, I am a divine member of the human race. I came from a multicultural and multiracial background. My ethnicity consists of African American, Native American , and Caucasian (Most likely in this order) roots. In short, I consider myself a multicultural black woman.
What kind of music do you listen to?
My taste in music has continued to evolve over the years. I have primarily stuck to the rock genre (and many of its subgenres) for over a decade now. At the present moment, I am enjoying a lot of indie rock, acoustic folk/rock/soul , folk inspired music, ambient, classic rock and classic punk.
What are your spiritual beliefs?
I believe in a higher power which I usually refer to as God, God & Goddess, or the Divine. I believe that every living thing has a universal energy that flows through them. Everything is essentially connected through energy. As an empath I can usually feel energy and I am conscious of synchronistic events. I am not particularly religious but my personal beliefs are very eclectic. I draw from Paganism, Buddhism, and New Age philosophies.
What are your views on God?
Like I stated before, I do believe in a higher power. I prefer to look at God as a 2 part feminine/masculine yin/yang energy. I believe that God/dess loves everyone and wants everyone to succeed in life. In fact, he/she has given us all we need to succeed in life and that energy is within us. It all comes down to free will and I am aware that some people believe while others don’t or simply go through the motions.
What do you do for a living?
I am a part time student and part time small business owner. I also have various other projects I work on that provide me with multiple streams of income.
Why do you blog?
I blog because I have realized that my voice and ideas are my #1 outlet of creativity. I also happen to love the community that bloggers often share. To be able to share your opinions with such a large audience is incredible.
What is your deepest and darkest secret that you are willing to share with the world?
Although I often come off reserved in person I am deeply opinionated, open minded & unconventional. I do however believe in presenting myself with grace & class as much as possible.
How do you want to be remembered as when you die?
I want to be known for breaking down stereotypes, expanding limited perspectives and creating positive change in my environment. In some ways I am already known for it.
Do you fear death?
As I currently see it death, is just a new beginning. Of course if someone came at me with a gun to my head I would still feel fear based on a common human emotion, ego, and fear of the unknown.
What do you do in your free time?
All I have is free time. I journal, listen to music, enjoy nature, and communicate with my friends as much as possible.
